This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of edpunk.com ("Company", "we", "our" or "us") regarding our collection, use and disclosure of your information in connection with your access and use of edpunk.com (the "Site"), EdPunk mobile application for iOS and Android (the "App"), and the other services, features, products, content or applications offered by the Company (together with the Site and the App, the "Services"). All defined terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Company Terms of Service, of which this Privacy Policy is a part.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.

When using our Services, the types of information that are collected are:

  • Information to facilitate payments, billing and shipping of any physical goods like full name, address, phone number, mode of payment, or payment details.
  • Your feedback, preferences and settings like reviews or ratings, syllabus and course preferences, account settings, app settings; and
  • Information provided to us through our service, interaction with our customer service, participation in surveys or marketing promotions.
2.2 INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY

We also collect some information automatically through our Services or using third party service providers. This information includes:

  • Log information: Like most online service providers, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, including the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, the date and time of access, device name, device size, other device information, operating system, mobile network information, crash dump, and other statistics.
  • Usage information: We collect information (directly and using third party service provides) about your usage of our Services which includes both App and Website. We use this information to, for example, provide our Services to you, get insights on how people use our Services so that we can make our Services better, and understand and make predictions about user retention.
  • Location information: We collect location information of our users, which is not personally identifiable, using third party service providers. We collect and use this information to, for example, calculate how many people visit our Services from certain geographic regions.
  • Stored information: We may access information stored on your mobile device via our App. We access this stored information through your device operating system’s permissions. No stored information is accessed unless the user choses to upload it via the App.
  • Information from cookies & other technologies: Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory. This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the third party service providers may use "cookies" to collect information.

3. SHARING OR DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION COLLECTED

We will use all collected information only to serve you better through newsletters, targeted products, content curation and course offerings.

As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any personally identifiable information about you to any third party.

Should we plan to merge/sell all or substantially all of our business to another business entity or similar other transaction or be required by that business entity, we may transfer or disclose your Personal Information to that business entity who may collect, use or disclose such information for the purposes of evaluating the proposed transaction or for operating and managing the affairs of the acquired business or for other purposes identified in this Policy.

Due to the existing regulatory environment, we reserve the right to disclose any Personal Information that may be required to be disclosed mandatorily under applicable law or where the disclosure is necessary to comply with any legal obligation or to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, without prior notice or consent of the site / app user.

For online payments, your financial info (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.) will be entered by you directly into our payment processor's web page and stored by them securely – it will not live in our databases.

Note to our users in Europe: We transfer your personal information from the European Economic Area and Switzerland to India. By submitting your data and/or using our services, you consent to the transfer, storing, and processing of your personal information in India.

4. ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION

9. GOVERNING LAWS AND JURISDICTION

Our services and the use of it is governed by the laws of India and the courts in Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes connected to our services.
